Veterans Airlift Command - Replacement Windows Dallas - Fort Worth, Texas

Window World is a proud partner of the Veterans Airlift Command which provides free transportation to wounded soldiers, veterans and their families who have courageously battled for our freedom. Through a volunteer network of aircraft owners and pilots, the Veterans Airlift Command is able to help ease the burden felt during these times by providing air shuttles for medical and other compassionate purposes.

The priority of the Command focuses on the veterans of Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan). As the number of volunteers and donations continue to increase, so do the number of lives they are able to touch.

In December 2008, Window World was able to be a part of a special air transportation mission for Iraq War veteran, Corporal Zachary Briseno. Briseno was flown from Wilmington, North Carolina where he was continuing rehabilitation to his home here in Fort Worth, Texas. The crew and passengers were accompanied by Eve, his new service dog who will assist him in day-to-day tasks. Corporal Briseno lost both of his legs below the knees while serving our country. Briseno was flown by Johnny Johnston, senior pilot of the Window World aircraft.
