• Help reduce yearly heating and cooling expenses |
Did you know that inefficient windows can lose up to 40% of a home’s cooling in the summer and up to 50% of heating in the winter? These are facts you just can’t afford to ignore.
Because over 75% of your window is glass, the glass is the most important component for energy conservation. The overall efficiency of the glass is dependent on the sum of the parts: the glass, the space between the glass and the spacer system. With Window World® we build every window using the best, most reliable and energy efficient glass materials available.

Glass with SolarZone Low-E & Argon GasMaximize the energy efficiency of your replacement windows with the addition of Low-E and Argon Gas. This option is the perfect long-term solution for reducing those ever-increasing utility bills and for increasing your home’s year-round comfort level. Our super energy efficient glass is designed to keep your rooms warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer while protecting your carpet, furniture and window coverings from harmful UV rays.

Low-E glass filters long-wave radiation from the sun. This reduces solar heat gain from the summer sun, helping to keep your home cooler. Additionally, in the summertime where windows are exposed to direct radiation, Low-E coated glass blocks unwanted ultraviolet radiation and reflects away the long-wave infrared radiation that can add heat to the inside of your home.
Low-E glass takes on a new responsibility in winter months. It lets warm solar rays into your home, while blocking the heat inside of your home from getting out. In cold weather, you spend your energy dollars generating long-wave radiation, as in heat from a furnace. That heat moves toward your cooler windows, but Low-E acts like a mirror, reflecting it back inside to help you save you money!
